Description The Repose ProForm Contour Chair is a multi-adjustable seating solution, designed to help people at risk of pressure injuries and falls. Available in both a manual and electric model. Repose are conscious of changing user requirements and the need for long term sustainability. The ability to adjust, reuse and replace, along with clinical features, is at the core of the ProForm Contour design. Made and tested in the UK to the highest standards, with easily replaceable and readily available parts, means that the ProForm Contour should offer an excellent long-term investment, meeting the changing needs of those that use it and care providers alike. Mechanisms The ProForm Contour is available as an electric or manual model. The features are the same for both models except that the electric model comes with a handset that will operate the main movements of the chair which are the Independent Tilt in Space, Backrest Recline and Leg Rest adjustments. All other adjustments/movements are operated manually on both models. Tool-Free Adjustments The ProForm Contour features an adjustable head rest, seat depth, seat width, arm height and footplate as standard. All adjustments are completely tool-free* and quick and easy to carry out. With these measurements able to be altered within seconds, the ProForm Contour is ready for the next client easily and quickly, making it extremely convenient for care environments. *Adjustments made to the headrest will require the use of an Allen key, which is provided upon purchase of the chair. Repose Proform Contour Chair – Pressure Management Back Cushions There is a choice of two interchangeable and adjustable pressure management back cushions that enable the chair to be adapted to a single user’s changing needs or to adapt the chair to another user. This ensures greater longevity of its usage. In addition, all cushions reposition to suit a user’s individual seating preferences. Covers are removable for cleaning. See the Back Cushions tab more details. Pressure Management Seat Cushions There are four interchangeable seat cushions to choose from, each with different pressure management features. There is the option to purchase more than one, enabling the chair to support the needs of multiple people. Cushions and covers are removable for cleaning and replacement. See the Seat Cushions tab for more details. Wing Handles And Back Handles The ProForm Contour is extremely easy to push and manoeuvre. As well as having ergonomic back handles to guide the chair whilst the client is in an upright position, there are also easy-to-grip wing handles, providing a sturdy and comfortable hold, with the handles shaped and positioned to suit carers of different heights. These handles enable the chair to be moved and positioned even when an individual is in a fully reclined position. Four Heavy Duty Large Lockable Castors – Including One Directional Castor There are four heavy-duty lockable castors that glide over low profile carpets, wooden and vinyl flooring. This includes one directional castor, which, when activated, allows for a more controlled movement. Padded Seat Chaise Overlay The ProForm Contour benefits from a single, full cover over the whole of the seat. This chaise overlay, which attaches to the seat cushion, reduces the risk of pressure areas developing due to pinch points and shear and friction when the chair reclines. The chaise overlay/seat cover is removeable for cleaning and replacement. Foam Pad Headrest The foam pad headrest ensures the head is supported while still offering deep comfort. Repose Proform Contour Chair – Delivery This chair is made to order and lead times will vary throughout the year.
