Description The Repose ProForm Position Chair is a simple, multi-adjustable seating solution. Available in both a manual and electric model. Changing user requirements and the need for long term sustainability across a number of environments has been a key part of the ProForm Position’s design. The ability to adjust, replace and reuse, along with clinical features, means that ProForm Position delivers excellent long term user and clinical benefits. The ProForm Position comes as standard with: A choice of 4 removable and interchangeable pressure management seat cushions Seat depth and seat width adjustment, completely tool-free Depth and angle adjustable arms to accommodate windsweeping Height and angle adjustable footplate Independent Backrest Recline, Tilt-in-Space and Leg Rest Elevation   The ProForm Position benefits from a number of easily adjustable settings and cushion options to enable it to be configured correctly by the care team for different, and changing, user clinical and comfort needs. Made and tested in the UK to the highest standards, with easily replaceable and readily available parts, means the ProForm Position offers an excellent long-term investment, meeting the changing needs of users and care providers.   Repose ProForm Position Chair Specifications The safe working load of the ProForm Position chair is 25 stone and has an adjustable seat with of between 15.5 and 21 inches.   Charging Specification Battery Type Lithium Lon – BA22 Battery – 1 per chair Output Voltage 24V Capacity 2.9Ah Duty Cycle 10%, 2 minutes continuous use followed by 18 minutes idle   Please note: Depending on the seat cushion built into the chair the seat and arm height may vary slightly from the measurements shown.   Key Features Designed for evolving conditions, the ProForm Position provides multiple adjustment options and ensures the chair can be recycled between users. There is the option to purchase additional features and these are detailed in Optional Accessories tab.   Mechanisms The ProForm Position comes in either an electric or manual model.  The features are the same for both models except that the electric model comes with a handset that will operate the main movements of the chair which are the Independent Tilt in Space, Backrest Recline and Leg Rest adjustments. All other adjustments/movements are operated manually on both models. Both models come with: Independently operated Tilt in Space (manual or electric operation) Independently operated Backrest Recline (manual or electric operation) Independently operated Leg Rest (manual or electric operation) For further details on these mechanisms, visit the Mechanisms tab.   Tool-Free Adjustments The ProForm Position features an adjustable seat depth, seat width, arm angle and footplate as standard. All of these adjustments can be made by the care staff completely tool-free. With these measurements able to be changed within seconds, the ProForm Position can be altered for the next client easily and quickly, making it convenient for care environments.   Pressure Management Back Cushions The ProForm Position features our bestselling waterfall back. Reposition the cushions to suit a user’s individual seating preferences. Unzip and remove fibres from each cushion to suit the individual. Covers are removable for cleaning. See Back Cushions tab for more details.   Pressure Management Seat Cushions There is a choice of three interchangeable seat cushions each with different pressure management features. You can purchase one or more cushions to support the different needs of individuals who may use this chair. Cushions and covers are removable for cleaning and replacement. See Seat Cushions tab for more details.   Heavy-Duty Push Handle The ProForm Position is extremely easy to push and manoeuvre. The rear of the chair features a heavy-duty push handle for ease of movement for the care team. The durability of the handle ensures the longevity of the chair.   Four Heavy Duty Large Lockable Castors The ProForm Position comes with four heavy-duty lockable castors designed to easily glide over low profile carpets, wooden and vinyl flooring. This includes one directional castor, which when activated allows for more controlled movement.   Box Cushion & Crumb Catcher The ProForm Position features an easily removable box seat cushion, with anti-slip material to the underside to ensure security once the client is seated. This makes changing the seat cushion simple and effortless to adapt to changing conditions. The crumb catcher is completely removable for ease of cleaning.   Repose ProForm Position Chair – Delivery Delivery, set up & a demonstration comes as standard for almost all areas of mainland Britain*.
