Lift capacities are displayed in stone and internal seat dimensions are shown in inches. The overall width of the chair is your chosen seat width plus 9 inches for the arms (4.5 inches each). The overall height will be the seat height plus the back height, minus 3 inches. When choosing either a Bariatric or a Supa Bariatric chair size, please note that the Bariatric has a weight lift capacity of 35 stone and the Supa Bariatric is capable of lifting a person up to 40 stone. The numbers at the end refer to the seat width on any given chair size. Pressure Relief Pressure relieving cushioning is provided throughout the laying surface with the Penarth Chair Bed and not just the seating area. This Medium Risk Visco pressure cushioning can be upgraded to a Coolgel mattress for those at High Risk of pressure ulcer development. See the Pressure Relief tab for prices. Primacare Penarth Chair Bed – Fabric Choices Choose luxurious yet practical upholstery for your Penarth Chair Bed with outer fabrics from the Ultima Collection by Cristina Marrone. Ultima is the newest development in a soft handle, polyurethane cloth with a faux leather finish and is great for heavy-duty use. Inner fabrics are from Dartex and are 4-way stretch, allowing you to feel the full benefit of the pressure cushioning within. Vapour permeable, wipeable and fully waterproof and available in a number of colour options, you are sure to find an inner and outer fabric combination to suit. Fabric samples are available upon request.
