Description The Opera Solo Floor Bed is a great solution should you or your loved one require advanced care at home. The Solo has an incredibly low floor height making it suitable for people with Dementia and other cognitive conditions. The Solo provides a safe sleeping height and reduces the risk of injury from bed falls. The profiling bed has an ‘all-in-one’ height range where the whole bed raises up to waist level, and lowers down to the floor. Available in 3 widths to suit the majority of people; 3ft Single, 3ft6 Wide Single and 4ft Small Double. There are also 2 wood colour finishes to choose from. Add a pressure care mattress and optional accessories once you’ve chosen your bed width and wood colour. Opera Solo Floor Bed Main Features Lowers down to the floor The Solo lowers to 11cm off the floor to give a safe sleeping height and prevent bed falls. The low floor height means you do not have to have side rails if you prefer not to. Raises up to your Preferred Height Raise the whole bed up to your perfect height to help you get on and off easier. If you have carers at home, raising the bed up to their waist level reduces back strain. Prevents Stomach Compression The Solo has an advanced auto-regression feature. This allows the backrest to elevates and profile but keep the mattress stays in place. Auto-regression allows you to sit more upright to help respiratory problems. Opera Solo Floor Bed is Suitable For Taller People The Solo profiling bed has an integrated length extension, allowing for an extra 20cm to be added to the length of the bed. Just make sure to purchase a mattress infill if you wish to extend the Solo bed. In-bed Tilt Position Known as ‘Anti-trendelenburg’, this position raises the bed at an incline so your head is higher than your legs. This position helps provide pressure relief and improve respiration and circulation throughout the body. Unrestricted Hoist Access The Solo has unrestricted clearance beneath the bed which makes the use of hoists and standing aids easier to access. Opera Solo Floor Bed Delivery & Setup Options There are several ways your bed can be delivered to you. Choose a free pallet delivery which takes between 2 and 3 working days. There’s also a next working day doorstep delivery service as well as a Saturday option. For all of these options you will have to set the bed up yourself.
