The Solo Comfort has an auto-regression backrest to prevent stomach compression when sitting up in bed and has an electric foot/leg raiser for comfort and support. Elegantly styled for the home with a fully upholstered surround, choose your headboard design and material, personalising it to your tastes. All functions are controlled by an easy-to-use handset and the bed’s motors are smooth and quiet. Opera Solo Comfort Floor Bed Main Features Ultra-Safe Floor Height The Solo Comfort eliminates fall injuries due to its incredibly low floor height of just 11cm. This reduces the need for side rails and makes the Solo an ideal care bed for people with dementia. Raises High for Nursing The Solo Comfort raises up to 73.5cm from the floor to the top of the mattress platform. Ideal for on-bed nursing care. The waist-level height helps to prevent carer’s from straining their backs. Opera Solo Comfort Floor Bed – Auto-Regression Backrest The backrest on the Solo Comfort regresses (slides backwards) when it is raised to prevent a pinch point as you sit up and alleviates stomach compression. In-Bed Chair Position By raising the back and leg rests and tilting the whole bed forwards, the Opera Solo Comfort Floor Bed forms a chair-like position allowing a person to sit up fully in bed. Ideal for reading, watching television and conversations. Easy-to-Use Handset Control A wired handset control operates the bed functions. With large, easy-to-understand buttons, it clips onto the side of the bed and out of the way, when not in use. Integrated Length Extension The Solo Comfort is able to accommodate taller people with an additional 20cm of length with the integrated length extension for optimum comfort. Be sure to add the mattress in-fill should you need to utilise this feature. Opera Solo Comfort Floor Bed Delivery & Setup Options There are several ways top have your bed delivered. Choose a free pallet delivery which takes between 3 and 5 working days. There’s also a next working day doorstep delivery service as well as a Saturday option.
