Description The Mackworth Raiser Stand Aid is a sit to stand platform, which is designed to provide an active, safe and comfortable transfer. It is ideal for short distance transfers, such as to and from bed to a shower chair. Its versatility allows for use with wheelchairs, toilets and shower chairs. Soft and wide padding in the leg support improves stability, and the sturdy handle offers many grip options for both the person and their carer. The rear wheels with independent locking manual brakes, makes it easy for a carer to manoeuvre, and provides maximum stability and safety. The Mackworth Raiser has a safe working load of 160 kg. To meet people’s varying needs, there are two styles of safety belts available – Freeway Ladder Belt and Freeway Safety Belt. Both easily attach to the transfer platform to enable either one or two carers to assist a person to their feet. The unique handle mechanism on the Mackworth Raiser provides further security and safety for belt fastening.
