Description The Harvest Duke Active Mattress is a high-quality replacement mattress by Harvest Healthcare. Designed for the frailer person who could be vulnerable to developing pressure ulcers, the system provides a very high degree of pressure relief whilst protecting the person. For use by patients at very high-risk of developing pressure ulcers, and supports the treatment of up to stage 4 pressure ulcers. The mattress has 30 individual cells: 25 alternating air cells and 5 static pillow section cells. All air cells are individually replaceable should any damage occur. A 50mm integral foam base rests beneath the removable cell structure, providing more support and redistributes pressure where necessary. The two structures are separated by a water resistant, PU cover – enabling both compartments to be removed for decontamination purposes. The welded seams of the cover also prevent water ingress, and further protect the inner structure of the mattress system. The cover has a Crib 5 fire rating. It is compatible with Harvest pumps 2 and 3.
