Description The Opera Signature Comfort Plus Profiling Bed is designed and styled for care in the home. An all-encompassing profiling bed with a range of features to make life easier for the person using it and their carers. The bed lowers close to the floor to assist with access and swinging legs onto the bed. The Opera Signature Comfort Plus raises up to a carer’s waist height enabling nursing care and support on the bed. Three-part split side rails raise and lower independently, helping to prevent falls. The side rails act as a grab handle when getting in and out too, as well as making a handy place to hook the handset control. Achieve the perfect height for access with the all in one height adjustment. Use the side rails as grab handles for support. Nursing Height The bed raises up to a nursing height of 73.5cm, the equivalent of a carer’s waist level. This allows carer’s to administer care on the bed comfortably and reduces the risk of back strain. Multi-Purpose Side Rails The side rails are made up of three adjustable rails on each side of the bed giving excellent flexibility and functionality. As well as being able to raise them to prevent falls, they lower for unimpaired access. Part raise them to act as grab handles for support. Back and Leg Adjustment The bed back rest raises to an upright seated position. The leg rest elevates at the knees for comfort and the feet raise up to improve circulation and reduce leg swelling. Easy to Operate The Opera Signature Comfort Plus Profiling Bed is fully electrically adjustable with all adjustments operated by an easy-to-use wired handset control. The control has large easy-to-understand buttons and the handset hooks on to the side of the bed when not in use. Strong Durable Construction The steel frame construction of Opera high-low beds ensure longevity and can accommodate robust use. The bed has a safe working load of more than 30st and a bariatric version is also available for heavier users. Lockable Castors Easily reposition the bed in the room with its four castors. When the bed is in the desired position, all four castors are lockable, ensuring the bed is secure and doesn’t move. Opera Signature Comfort Plus Delivery Options There are several options when it comes to taking delivery of your Signature Comfort Plus profiling bed. There’s a free doorstep delivery which typically takes between 3 and 5 working days. Choose next day delivery for stock items and items will be with you the very next day*. Both of these delivery options will require you to assemble the bed yourself. Select the 2-man delivery & setup option and let us take care of the heavy lifting for you.
