Suzie becomes Robert’s model for his paintings, and they eventually fall into a passionate romance. A major twist occurs when Robert discovers Suzie has a child from a previous relationship, which she had hidden from him. The film explores themes of love, cultural differences, and the complexities of human relationships in a historical Hong Kong setting.
