Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair Size Chart Seat heights start from 16 inches with our low profile mechanism while seat widths range from 22 inches up to 33 inches. The Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair truly is a bespoke solution that caters for all. When ordering through the website, please ensure the seat height, seat width and seat depth measurements that you choose are within the parameters below. For example, a Single Tilt-in-Space 35 Stone mechanism is available with an 18, 19, 20, or 21 inch seat height, a 22, 24, 26 or 28 inch seat width and any seat depth between 17 – 21 inches. Mechanisms You have a choice of 5 mechanisms with this bariatric lift chair. Rise & Recline Ltd have provided videos of their most popular ones. All mechanisms raise you in exactly the same way, it’s the way in which they recline that differs. Single Motor Tilt-in-Space A Single Motor Tilt-in-Space mechanism will first, raise your feet to horizontal, then the back will recline and the seat angle will tilt. Tilt-in-Space mechanisms provide a high leg lift. Dual Motor Standard Unlike the mechanism above, when reclining, the seat on a Dual Motor Standard mechanism will always remain horizontal. The leg and back sections are totally independent of one another, providing an infinite range of positions for your ensured comfort. The leg rest will raise up to the horizontal level. Dual Motor Tilt-in-Space The Dual Motor Tilt-in-Space mechanism does everything the Single Motor-Tilt-in-Space mechanism does with the added benefit of having independent movement of the back rest also. In order to benefit from the pressure relief within the cushions, the material covering them needs to be what’s known as 4-way stretch. It is for all these reasons that the Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair comes with Dartex inner fabrics which are 4-way stretch and waterproof as well as the Zest range by Panaz for the outer fabrics; a wipeable faux leather with some vibrant choices. Inner Fabrics Dartex fabrics are the ideal fabric to get the most out of the pressure relieving seat cushion within as they are 4-way stretch.
