Newbury Express Riser Recliner Chair Size Chart Please note, the lift capacities are in kilograms and the seat dimensions are in inches. The lift capacity for the Petite Single Tilt in Space mechanism is 100 kg and for the Petite Dual Tilt in Space mechanism it is 95 kilograms. Mechanisms Explained When researching riser recliners you will come across multiple phrases describing the many mechanism options available. At HWB Mobility, we like to keep industry jargon to a minimum and explain things clearly. The two mechanisms available for the Newbury Express are Single Tilt in Space and Dual Tilt in Space. Single Tilt in Space When you recline your single tilt in space chair, the angle of the seat tilts to ensure your back angle always remains at ninety degrees. First, the leg rest will elevate, the seat will tilt and the back rest will recline. This mechanism gives you a high leg elevation for improved circulation. When you want to raise your chair, the chair will return to the upright position and then begin to rise. Dual Tilt in Space In the same way as the single tilt in space mechanism, your back angle will remain at ninety degrees, when reclining. The difference between the two is that you also have the option of adjusting the angle of your back rest with a separate button, giving you a more varied range of positions for your enhanced comfort. This chair will be in your home and set up within 14 days. We will also provide you with a comprehensive demonstration, ensuring you are competent in its use. Should you require a chair size that isn’t available here, check out the Newbury. It’s exactly the same chair but it can be tailored to your requirements. The Newbury isn’t available for express delivery. Newbury Express Riser Recliner by Recliners ~ What Happens Next? As soon as we receive your express order, we submit it to the manufacturers. The moment it’s ready, we confirm a date and approximate time with you for installation, before jumping in our van to go and collect it. On the day of delivery, we will come in to see where you want the chair placing. Your Newbury Express Chair will then be assembled exactly where you want it to be and we will provide you with a comprehensive demonstration. You can ask us any questions you may have too, ensuring your competency before we leave. The chair is really easy to operate. All the packaging will be removed and if you have instructed us to take your old chair away, we will do that too.
